The Montenegrin International Medical Summit (MIMS) was born in 2019 out of the passion and determination of a group of medical, dental, and pharmacy students at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montenegro. What began as a desire to create a space where students—future and young doctors—could share their love for science, present their research, and develop practical skills, quickly evolved into something much greater.
MIMS became a place where we began creating lasting memories and lifelong friendships—a place where professional challenges are embraced and innovation takes root. In 2021, despite the global lockdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, we stood together in solidarity, highlighting the importance of every human life.
In a time when the world felt more disconnected than ever, we made every connection matter—proving that even in isolation, our shared purpose and dedication could bring us closer than ever before.
Each year, we strive to make MIMS not only a platform for continuous scientific growth but also a source of inspiration, motivation, and lasting bonds.
